Jesenia Perez
Registered Clinical Social Work Intern
Jesenia Perez is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern who is passionate about providing neurodivergent-affirming care. She earned her Master’s in Social Work with a focus on social justice and believes strongly in creating spaces where clients feel respected, understood, and free to be themselves.
With a background in Applied Behavior Analysis, Jesenia brings experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and is attentive to sensory needs, communication differences, and individual learning styles. She works collaboratively with clients to find ways of navigating life that feel authentic and sustainable—without requiring them to shrink themselves to fit a mold.
Using a strengths-based approach, Jesenia helps clients identify the skills they already have while building new tools that support autonomy, confidence, and independence. She has experience working in settings such as schools and medical clinics and has supported a wide range of clients, from young children to adults. She strives to create a flexible, collaborative therapy space where different communication styles, sensory needs, and ways of thinking are welcomed.
