Nicholas Pagano
Predoctoral Clinical Psychology Intern
Nicholas Pagano is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) completing his doctoral internship in School Psychology at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). He previously earned an M.S. in School Psychology from NSU, as well as an M.A. in Counseling and C.A.G.S. in School Psychology from Rhode Island College.
Nicholas has over 7 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families across school, clinical, behavioral health, and community settings.
His clinical experience includes psychological and psychoeducational assessment, individual and group counseling, autism assessment, behavioral intervention, parent training, consultation, and multidisciplinary collaboration. He has particular experience working with individuals with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, executive functioning difficulties, learning differences, anxiety, mood concerns, and behavioral challenges.
Nicholas approaches his work collaboratively, with an emphasis on individualized and neurodiversity affirming care. He is passionate about helping neurodivergent clients better understand how they think and learn, develop the skills to advocate for their needs, and build strategies that support success academically, professionally, and in everyday life. His professional interests include ADHD, autism, executive functioning, self-advocacy, and psychological assessment.
