Rebecca Saavedra is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern who was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Rebecca graduated with a Master’s of Social Work Degree from Florida Atlantic University in 2016. Rebecca graduated with a GPA which earned her Cum Laude recognition. Rebecca has over 5 years working in her career gaining experience with various populations including children, teens, and young adults. Within those populations, Rebecca has worked with individuals who have various mental health disorders and dual diagnoses. Rebecca describes her form of therapy as client-focused, making sure each individual feels heard and the needs are addressed through the necessary therapeutic approaches. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys watching movies, exercising, and spending time with her family and pets.
