Although she was born in Serbia, Andjela considers South Florida her home, as it is where she grew up. Andjela graduated from Keiser University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and has a minor in developmental neuroscience. Continuing her education, Andjela is currently working towards a doctorate degree in psychology at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). In addition to New Directions, Andjela is also interning at NSU’s psychological services clinic, as well as at the Nova University School. Andjela finds working with young adults very rewarding and hopes to continue working with this population for many years to come. Outside of New Directions, you can find Andjela traveling and exploring new places with her partner and family.
