Christina Hornyak, B.A.

Admissions Director

Christina Hornyak is the Admissions Director at New Directions for Young Adults. Ms. Hornyak earned her BA in Communications & Public Relations with a Minor in English Literature from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. Ms. Hornyak began her career as a marketing and P.R. representative for non-profits and other businesses like the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, believing there was more she could do in the world for others. In 2014, she made a career change to the field of Admissions in Education and was accepted to Keiser University with the goal of turning her belief into reality. Ms. Hornyak has spent most of her time assisting the less fortunate and doing the most for others. She has worked as a volunteer for the Walk for Animals Charity Event, collected donations for the Vietnam Veterans of America, founded the C.A.O.S (Commuters and Off-campus Students) Club at La Salle University, a club designed to assist students who do not live on campus feel more involved in school activities as well as receive the support they need. Ms. Hornyak also worked as an Admissions Headmaster at a local K through 12 private school. When Christina is not in the office, she spends her time with friends and family, traveling, cooking, and baking!
