Wendy Wallace is a 60 something, native Floridian, who has been at New Directions for Young Adults since it opened in Deerfield Beach, in 2007. She has been an educator since 1977, completing her bachelor’s from Barry College (now Barry University) in 1981, and her Masters’s in Exceptional Student Education from FAU in 2000. Besides being a tutor at NDFYA, she has also been a college professor since 2007 at Broward College. She has two grown, successful children, but perhaps her best accomplishment to date is being a grandmother to her grandchildren, Emmy, and Miles!
