We at the Admissions Department at New Directions want to thank you for your interest in our program. We are proud to be the leader in state-of-the-art therapeutic services for young adults in transition. We want to provide you with some information as you begin your investigation/journey with us.
- If you would like to come for a program and apartment tour, the first step would be to complete our online application at www.ndfya.com/apply.
- There is a $75 application fee which includes a group presentation, a tour of the student housing options, a review of assessment reports and treatment records (if available), and the creation of a customized service plan which is developed into a sample service contract (including the costs).
- For clients who cannot attend in person (possibly clients who are still in their previous treatments environment (i.e., a wilderness program or other setting), a telephone/video conference can be scheduled. Upon request, telephone appointments are also scheduled with current and/or previous therapists to help with a smooth transition.
- Within 24 business hours of your application payment, you will receive a call from one of our admissions representatives who will assist you in scheduling a program tour.
At New Directions we strive to provide tailor-made, specialized services for young adults. These include: academic, vocational support, life management skills training, budgeting skill training, individual therapy, group counseling, and social skill training/support. Service contracts are tailored to meet our client’s individual needs.
